We are honored to be hosting a weekend workshop featuring Jane Thornley, world famous knitwear designer and teacher from Nova Scotia.   Jane has transformed the stodgy, predictable feather & fan pattern into something new and exciting.  She has released it from captivity and  revamped it as poetry in these three beautiful designs. Choose from any one of these three designs to learn free range feather & fan knitting, color blending techniques, and true knitting liberation with no gauge at this unique and exciting weekend workshop. Space is limited so register early.

Escape to one of Southern California’s most quaint and historic towns for a weekend of inspiration and instruction, relaxation, friendship and delicious food.  The workshop will be held in a beautiful, new home just one mile from downtown San Juan Capistrano and the train depot.  The spacious, comfortable, second floor workroom (you’ll need to be able to navigate stairs) is surrounded with windows and opens to an outdoor deck that overlooks the city with views of the historic Mission which is quite famous for its miracle of the swallows who return to the mission every year on March 19th, St. Joseph’s Day.
